「Ellis(エリス)」は、19世紀にヨーロッパからの移民が、アメリカへ来た際に着ていたシャツをイメージして作った1枚です。
アンティークの、スタンドカラーの労働着をベースに製作しています。
生地は、コットン100%のインディゴ抜染プリント生地。
1930年代以前の抜染プリントを踏襲し国内で製作した生地となります。
静岡県浜松市にて枷藍染め(かせあいぞめ)を施し、岡山県倉敷市にて抜染プリントをしております。
今回は切り替えを無くし、生地の良さが引き立つ一枚に仕上げました。
前立ては、ワークシャツ同様、ラウンドの広い作り。
運針も50番手の糸で細かく縫込み、古いディテールに合うよう仕上げているのもポイントです。
ワークシャツながら、綺麗なスタイルにも使える、"ドレスワーク"なアイテムとなりますので、幅広く着こなせる1枚となっております。
