This blanket is based on her original fine art tapestry, “Chicory”. Chicory blooms blue and grows along rural roads. The juxtaposition between the blue flowers, the silver barns, and the yellow of the fields inspired me. Laura's woven work is first about color, then about the interpretation of the subject into a woven textile.
